TOP STAR

TOP Star is a free continuing education program for childcare providers designed to help providers improve the quality of the nutrition, physical activity, and breastfeeding environments in their child care facility. From birth to age 5, a child’s brain develops more than any other time in life. Early childhood years are critical to supporting a child’s development and growth that can encourage life lasting healthy habits.

Center Benefits

  • Providers benefit from this program by knowing the changes that are implemented in their facility will have lifelong impact on the children in their care.
  • Becoming TOP Star endorsed can also increase the facility’s marketability by promoting their endorsement to parents and the community.
  • TOP Star provides free online continuing education training (approved uses: Career Ladder Credit, Licensing, CCQS points, staff CDA), policy development assistance, $50-$100 gift card for new or renewing facilities, quarterly newsletters, menus, lesson plans, posters, tools and many other resources.
