Food Service
The Health Department helps to ensure that food offered to consumers is safe, unadulterated, and honestly presented. The Environmental Health Division establishes rules and definitions; sets standards for management, personnel, food operations, equipment and facilities; and provides for food establishment plan review, permit issuance, inspection, employee restriction, and permit suspension to safeguard public health.
