ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

With an emphasis on the relationship between health and the environment, this division focuses on the purity of air, food, and water. Every effort is made to identify and control hazards before they compromise public health. Services are rendered in the form of consultations, plan reviews, inspections, and investigations. Programs include: School Inspections, Septic systems, Solid and Hazardous Waste Regulation, Used Oil Recycling, Water Lab, Body Art, Harmful Algal Bloom, Public Swimming Pools, and Radon.
