COVID-19 Vaccine

Last updated on May 4, 2021.

This page is the official information source for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines by the Southwest Utah Public Health Department. It will be updated frequently.

New schedules are posted on Mondays at 9am and may be posted periodically during the week. Scheduling is dependent upon vaccine shipments, which are limited and received weekly. We will share any updates to our scheduling on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). You can also join our text notification system by texting “SWUHEALTH” to 888777 for clinic updates.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES REGARDING COVID-19 VACCINE:

  • You should not receive the COVID vaccine within 14 days of another vaccine and wait 14 days after having the COVID vaccine to receive any other vaccines.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19:
    • Individuals should wait to get vaccinated until they don’t have symptoms and have been released from isolation.
    • If a person has long-term symptoms from COVID-19, he or she should talk to their doctor before getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
    • If an individual got the 1st dose of the vaccine, but then tested positive for COVID-19 before getting their second dose, the person should wait to get the 2nd dose until he or she is done with isolation AND doesn’t have any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • KANE COUNTY: If you have questions, please call (435) 644-4994.
  • Every person (including spouses) must be registered for their own appointment. If you were unable to reserve more than one appointment at the time of registration, the second individual must register under a new email.
