COVID-19 Vaccine
Last updated on February 25, 2021.
This page is the official information source for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines by the Southwest Utah Public Health Department. It will be updated frequently.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, the state of Utah recommends you wait at least 90 days after your positive test before getting vaccinated. You should not receive Covid-19 vaccine if you have a history of immediate allergic reaction to a previous dose of or any component of COVID-19 vaccines (click HERE for vaccine ingredient information).
New schedules are posted on Mondays at 9am and may be posted periodically during the week. Scheduling is dependent upon vaccine shipments, which are limited and received weekly. We will share any updates to our scheduling on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). You can also join our text notification system by texting “SWUHEALTH” to 888777 for clinic updates.
IMPORTANT MESSAGES REGARDING COVID-19 VACCINE:
- If you were scheduled for the COVID Vaccine Clinic for Washington County on February 18th, please click here to learn more about rescheduling.
- You should not receive the COVID vaccine within 14 days of another vaccine and wait 14 days after having the COVID vaccine to receive any other vaccines.
- Every person (including spouses) must be registered for their own appointment. If you were unable to reserve more than one appointment at the time of registration, the second individual must register under a new email.
- Demand is high and we receive limited vaccines on a weekly basis, so it will take several weeks to schedule and vaccinate those currently eligible. We appreciate your patience!
- KANE COUNTY: If you have questions, please call (435) 644-4994.
- *Proof of employment is required if you are a healthcare worker, first responder, or school staff and can be a badge, name tag, pay stub, written letter, etc.
